You were being put in my care
And loved me from day one.
You gave me so much of your love
And unconditional attention.
You were a special assistant during
Some very difficult months in my Life.
Your eyes always on me as my companion
With a heart of Gold and a happy spirit.
Only the damage that had been done
Wasn’t meant to be healed or reversed.
All I could give was my unconditional love
In return as well as my care for your wellbeing.
Making sure you got the right attention as well
The necessary guidelines to create a safe
Environment for the both of us.
Yet the sweet and tender qualities were
Shifting from being out of control and out of reach.
At one point I had to make a tough decision
Coming from love as well as knowing.
I am the one who is able to make this call
Being responsible for your peace of mindset
As well as the guardian of your safety too.
It is never easy to decide to be the one
Cutting the cords from this lifetime to the other.
It can only be done when love and responsibility
Are walking hand in hand together.
We are both soulmates, one way or the other
And our love for each other is unconditional.
You enriched my life in ways I never could have expected
And I am blessed with your presence on the other side
Of the Rainbow, knowing you are playing and roaming free
From any worry or trouble and well has taken care of.
One day, my sweet gentle giant, my white dragon,
You and I will meet again and rejoice to be in
Each other’s company and loving care.
I thank you, for this challenge again thought me
The way Love works when you take responsibility
To make a decision that in the end will prevail
Any questions that arise from the outside world.
Perceptions and experiences are the guidelines
That will show the way unconditional love works.
